Mobile

The alarm device is easy to use: it only requires mobile communications reception to reach your smartphone. This way, you can use spexor anywhere that you can’t be.

Discreet

spexor also protects your privacy. It does not have a camera, does not analyze or transmit speech data, and sends notifications only if the alarm is triggered. When you switch off the monitoring, it is truly off. Because data protection is very important to us.

Invented for life

As simple as child’s play

Installation, setup, monitoring ‒ with spexor, everything is so easy. Setting up and managing spexor via the app on your smartphone is just as easy.

Alarm messaging

How does alarm messaging work?

No matter where spexor is set up and how far it is from your smartphone, it sends alarm messages via the mobile communications network initially to the Bosch back-end. From there, the warning is then forwarded to your smartphone. At home, this is done using Wi-Fi to preserve spexor’s battery life; everywhere else this is done with an integrated SIM card.

#2

Bluetooth

Why does spexor need Bluetooth?

If you are in the area, spexor creates a direct connection to your smartphone using Bluetooth and the app. This is used only during setup, but not for activating or deactivating the monitoring process or for alarm messaging.

Communication

How does spexor communicate?

spexor can use various standards for mobile communications and wireless data transfer: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2G, and, in the future, ZigBee as well. In addition, it can determine its location data via GPS.

#4

ZigBee

And what does spexor do with ZigBee?

ZigBee creates a direct link between spexor and other smart home products that also use ZigBee. This way, data can be transferred directly via Wi-Fi or mobile communications with no circuitous routes. ZigBee is already integrated, but it will not be able to be used until a later date.

This is how spexor protects you and your valuables

Outstanding technology combined in spexor:

Reliable, high-quality Bosch sensors monitor pressure, noises, and movement in order to detect break-ins. As soon as you activate spexor, this is how it observes the environment. If spexor registers deviations, it sounds the alarm.

Great connection anywhere:

You can always reach spexor because it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, 2G, and GPS on board. And spexor can always reach you from wherever you position and activate it. As soon as something is amiss, it uses the most appropriate channel and notifies you immediately or enables the optional Bosch Emergency Assistant if you cannot be reached.

Charge it up once for up to two months of security:

spexor has a high-performance battery that can tolerate temperatures in a range from –10°C to +60°C. After you have charged it using the USB connection, spexor monitors your environment for up to two months. When the battery needs to be charged again, spexor notifies you via your smartphone.

Easy to operate with the intuitive app:

Not only is operation on the device easy, but using the related app is also as simple as child’s play. It just takes a few steps to set up your personal access. Then you specify where you would like to set up your device and which alarm you would like to use. You can see all of the details at a glance in the overview. At the tap of a finger, spexor starts the monitoring process.

Always the right alarm option:

You decide how spexor reacts in an emergency. The device itself can emit a loud alarm and deter possible intruders directly. Or it remains silent and informs you discreetly. Even after the alarm is triggered, you decide what happens next. You can check on the situation yourself or ask neighbors and friends for help and, in an emergency, you can also inform the police. Or you can contact the optional Bosch Emergency Assistant which, together with you, can then engage local police. The Bosch Emergency Assistant is there for you around the clock, seven days a week. Even if you do not have your smartphone handy, spexor forwards the alarm automatically to the Bosch Emergency Assistant.
